For this activity, you will need a PA Fishing License, but it’s worth it if you can catch a largemouth bass, perch, pickerel or other fish. The lake at Skytop Lodge is open in the summer for swimming and other fun activities. In the winter, when it freezes over, it’s open for ice fishing. Ice fishing is a great activity for kids who enjoy being outside. Dads and sons especially enjoy this activity as it’s perfect for quiet bonding time together.
When you think of the quintessential winter activity, ice skating is sure to come to mind. Every year, Skytop Lodge creates a magical wonderland as its Pavillion is transformed into a skating rink. Snow Tubing
Talk about a fun time! Instead of sledding, try snow tubing this year. This is a favorite wintertime activity here in the Poconos. We even have our own tubing hill here at Skytop Lodge.
