If last month’s freak snowstorm in Spokane, Washington showed us anything, it’s that nothing can stop a bride and groom from being happy on their wedding day. When this couple chose September 28 as their wedding date, they imagined changing fall colors and a crisp sunshine-filled outdoor ceremony. Instead, they got a blizzard.
You go outside and take photos! Or at least that’s what this bridal party did. The stunning photos look like they’re right out of a bridal magazine. Like the Pocono Mountains, Spokane is no stranger to this much snow, but the fact that it hit in September is a little unexpected.
Winter weddings are very popular among brides, especially those who adore the smells, tastes, and sounds of Thanksgiving and Christmas. With a little more planning–jackets would be nice!–a winter wedding has all the makings of a magical winter wonderland.
