See the beautiful backcountry of Skytop Lodge’s West Mountain from the seat of a UTV. These Polaris RZR’s are a mix between a Jeep and an ATV. At 570cc’s they have no shortage of horsepower, and with safety features like seatbelts, safety nets and a roll cage to guests, safe. These machines are great for couples or Parent/child combos since you sit next to each other. The passenger sits in a front seat just like the driver and can easily carry on a conversations or take great point of view photos. If you’ve never experienced off road trail driving, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. Drivers must be 18years of age with a valid driver’s license.
Our experienced guide will lead the way, setting a pace safe and comfortable to all riders. Our two person UTV's allow younger riders age 12 and above to join in the fun as well. Skytop Lodge is known for having some of Pocono’s most beautiful and pristine forests as well as some of the best local views. Wildlife encountered on the trail can include bear, bobcat, deer, coyote, hawks, owls, turkeys, and more. We ride the UTV trails year round until snow prevents passage! Trips will cover 7-8 miles and usually last about an hour including the safety briefing.
During the trip, you will experience mud pits, log crossings, washboards, hill climbs and rock gardens. We also stop at a couple of unique and scenic spots for photos. Drivers must be at least 18 years old and passengers must be at least 12 years old. Drivers are responsible for any damage that occurs to the machine during their rental. A valid credit card is needed and held as a deposit.
Dress for the weather. These trips go out rain or shine. You may get wet and muddy or full of dust, so wear clothing that can get very dirty! The Adventure Center will provide your helmet.
