Gingerbread Weekends
December 7th - 9th; 14th - 16th; 21st - 23rd

The holiday season will be in full effect here at the Lodge. Little elves scurry about creating the perfect holiday atmosphere as you celebrate with loved ones during the most wonderful time of year!

Have you ever seen a life-sized gingerbread house? Our gingerbread house is 8 foot wide, 10 foot long and 12 feet high and weighs 2,000 pounds. It is made of 1,300 pounds of gingerbread, 400 pounds of icing and 300 pounds of candy!

The theme of this year’s Gingerbread House is “Santa’s North Pole Home.” See our life-sized gingerbread house and learn how to make your own gingerbread masterpiece! Enjoy a weekend full of Holiday cookies, hot wassail, holiday stories, Victorian caroling and dozens of other family-fun events. Parents will love the delicious holiday themed meals and will enjoy holiday culinary presentations while their children delight in visits with Santa and a fireside reading of "T'was The Night Before Christmas."

The gingerbread house is perfect setting for a family portrait! The public is welcome to come to the Lodge to see the house and the beautiful Holiday decorations. We invite you to stay for lunch or dinner (additional charge and reservations required). While visiting, you can enjoy the amenities of the resort such as ice skating, sledding or skiing for an additional charge.

Construction of the Gingerbread House will begin the Monday after Thanksgiving. Come to Skytop and get in the spirit of the season!
